EURIMAC SA originated from the joint venture between EURICOM GROUP and MACVEL SA, a Greek pasta company known in Europe since 1939.

EURIMAC was established in May 1996 in the industrial area of Kilkis, Greece and produces 100% high-quality dried durum wheat semolina pasta, rigorously controlled and certif(ied by TUV Hellas.

The two strategic partners EURICOM GROUP and MACVEL invested over 35 million euros in the construction of cutting-edge facilities, including a pasta factory, a logistics centre, a flour mill and silos that meet the highest quality standards and food security.

The Kilkis facility became environmentally sustainable thanks to the construction of the rice husk combustion boiler. The husk, whose annual consumption amounts to 10,000 tons, has replaced traditional fuels; it allows the company to generate extremely low emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) and sulphur dioxide (SO2) and to benefit from a low energy cost per thermal MWh.

EURIMAC specialises in the production of both private label and high-quality branded products for the main European supermarket and discount chains, as well as for the main food importers and distributors worldwide.

The company is fully vertically integrated and can produce up to 72,000 tons of pasta a year, including long and short pasta, special pasta, bronze drawn, quick cooking, whole wheat and five cereals.
